About Feastivities Catering
Feastivities Catering was founded by Julie Weber and Tish Baird in November of 1990. A year later, at the urging of loyal customers, they doubled the size of their operation and expanded into the Gourmet-To-Go business.
In 1999, Ms. Weber sold Feastivities to longtime employee and good friend Charissa Christopher and Feastivities became what it is today.
In the meantime, Erin Kelly was hard at work in Austin. She attended the Texas Culinary Academy, while working at the flagship Central Market store and various other Austin eateries. After graduation, she got a blind call from Charissa and started working at Feastivities in August of 1999.
The relationship that formed between Charissa and Erin goes beyond the average working relationship. They are friends, family, co-workers, and each other’s right hand. Their unique approaches to cooking have sustained Feastivities’s loyal customers throughout the years. These two can plan a party in no time, making your event beautiful, delicious and effortless.
Feastivities provides an important service to a diverse array of customers, from moms too busy to cook, to those people wanting to entertain in their own homes without a lot of fuss. The selections at Feastivities are broad and include dinner entrees, side dishes, salads and fresh baked breads. Erin’s favorite thing to create is anything with an Asian flair; so you can usually find something deliciously foreign in the Market. On the flip side, Charissa is a master of desserts, baking spectacular cakes and cookies. Seasonal gift items, frozen hors d’oeuvres, and holiday dinners are also available.
